From Flax to String

Walkthrough

1. Step 01

   Talk to Maria

   Find Maria near the flax fields. She is drowning in unspun flax and could use a pair of hands.

2. Step 02

   Bring a load of flax

   Pick a full inventory of flax and hand it over to Maria.

3. Step 03

   Bring another load

   One inventory was not enough. Go back to the fields and bring Maria a second full load.

4. Step 04

   Clear out the spiders

   The fields have a pest problem. Kill 36 spiders for Maria.

5. Step 05

   Report the cull

   Talk to Maria now that the spiders are dealt with.

6. Step 06

   Find the recipe book

   Search Draynor's library for the crafting recipe book Maria needs.

7. Step 07

   Return the book

   Bring the book back to Maria near the flax fields.

8. Step 08

   Learn to spin

   Have Maria teach you how to craft strings, unlocking the recipe permanently.
