Walkthrough
- Step 01
Find the Mage of Zamorak
Seek out the Mage of Zamorak in the Wilderness near the river. He is interested in how you get to the rune essence mine.
- Step 02
Meet him in the altar
Continue the conversation with the Mage of Zamorak at the Altar of Zamorak in Varrock.
- Step 03
Teleport from Varrock
Have yourself teleported to the rune essence mine from Varrock.
- Step 04
Read the first fix
Use the scrying orb inside the rune essence mine to record the destination.
- Step 05
Teleport from the Wizards' Tower
Take the second route into the mine, this time from the Wizards' Tower.
- Step 06
Read the second fix
Use the scrying orb inside the rune essence mine again.
- Step 07
Teleport from Ardougne
Take the third and final route into the mine, from Ardougne.
- Step 08
Read the third fix
Use the scrying orb one last time inside the rune essence mine.
- Step 09
Return to the altar
Bring all three readings back to the Mage of Zamorak at the Altar of Zamorak in Varrock to unlock the Abyss.
